Dr. Hornfeld - A 1988 graduate of The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, Dr. Hornfeld completed his ophthalmology training at Saint Vincents Hospital and Medical Center in New York City where he served as chief resident.

In addition to ten years in private practice in New York City, Dr. Hornfeld is also an attending physician at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Cabrini Medical Center, The Fifth Avenue Surgicenter, and Lasik Sight Laser Center. Dr. Hornfeld teaches new surgical techniques to other physicians. He has been board certified by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Hornfeld is highly skilled in CustomVue laser vision correction. CustomVue allows the doctor to measure and correct the unique imperfections of an individual’s eye and potentially provide better vision than with contacts or glasses. He also utilizes IntraLase which is the most advanced bladeless approach to LASIK, laser vision correction.
